    move over baby boomers !

Discussion started by --zeSto-- - Feb 11, 2003

"By 2011, almost one-fifth of baby boomers – those born between 1946 and 1964 –
will be at least 61 years of age and pushing ever closer to retirement."

    yay!

"Today, one in eight Americans is aged 65 or older. As the first wave of the baby boom generation will begin to retire after 2010 (early retirement for Social Security benefits would be 2008), however, the share of older Americans will increase significantly. By 2040, nearly one in four will be 65 or older. "

    out of my way gramps!

"And though the baby boomers may retire with the largest nest eggs in history, they will be forced to apply much of their hard-earned savings toward the long term care these medical advances warrant."

so they'll be senile with a heap of cash? cool !

I mean what a prosperous time it can be for us young'uns.
Well finally be running the show with a giant heap of stored
cash just waiting to go back into the system. Imagine the fortunes
that can be made in 'Seniors Travel' 'Retirement Care' even in something
as simple as landscaping and home maitenance. Every thing that used
to be done by a boomer, will have to be done by us. And we want money!
Oh what an interesting time it will be!

war will take out the excess as per requirements of capitalism and the apocalypse.

At sunrise one will see a great fire.
Noise and light extending towards the north.
Within the Earth death and cries are heard.
Death awaiting them through weapons, fire and famine.

    yeah right.

wasn't the world supposed to end 50 times in the past 20 years?
What?> There wasn't a space ship behind the Hale-Bop commet?
What?> No y2k bug or total apocalypse for the new year?

you know what's going to happen?
People will get old and the majority of the planet will be wearing diapers.
And some of us will be making a fortune by givingthe golden goose a nice place to shit golden eggs.
