are those welded or do you melt them together? when i create sculpture i make them however i can because sometimes the metal doesn't match so i use bolts and what not...oh and this stuff is very hard for those of you wishing to try your hand at some revs style type stuff here's a warning it'll take work! but its well worth it because I put up a few of my metal works outside and its great its like the unbuffable graff!

Everything is tig welded together...you can't see it in the picture really but in the subway car for IZ there is roughly 150 rivets in it...just laying out and drilling the holes for the rivets took a long time...shit it took an hour just to put the rivets in!! It definatally takes some time and skill. I'm just lucky that I did metal fab work for 5 years right out of high school so I learned how to do that kinda stuff and also I'm exteremly lucky to have access to the shop to be able to make all the stuff. Without the right tools and knowing how to use them it will more then double the time it till take you to do that kind of stuff. I like the saber stuff. Just knowing how things go together and how it was made...there is alot of work into each one of those that were posted!!! Anyone else out there do any metal work?? or any kind of sculptures?? Thanks to everyone for the comments on my stuff...you guys rock!!! :P

cool. i do sculptures also, concrete & wood...not metal though (my welding skills need a little improvement first)

how big are those? when you say that you made them for twist, crash, and iz, does that mean you gave your sculptures to them? definitely some interesting shit...i'll post some of my sculptures.

by the way, are you a fan of Richard Serra's big-ass rusted steel sculptures?
