RumPuncher
Remember in the old days of casette tapes, how people would 'consolidate' the best songs from all these different albums on to one tape? Do people still do that? Have I been sleeping on this? I'm about to make a 'best of GNR' disc and after that maybe a ''best of GZA' disc.
S@T@N
I just started on a Family Guy music compilation cd, and I've made a few "best of" cd's for dj shadow, rjd2 and tool.. it's quite common.

dpuerto
People dont use tape anymore since CD-R offers a better alternative... digital, which is an exact copy of the master. Tape degrades with each copy. And there has been Best ofs made forever... dont you ever watch TV?

My friend suggested I should edit together a 'cum compilation' of just him. Even just audio, it'd be pretty funny.

Zack Morris
mix cd's are convenient and all but there is something nostalgic and somewhat more personal with a mix TAPE. That shit remind me of LA Gear, zubas, reaganomics. Plus there is more work put into a mix tae than a mix cd. WItht e cd you highlight the tracks you want to burn click burn to cd and walk away from it. A mix tape you sit and dig through tapes, cue up each song you want to use, and do all that shit. Its just more personal. MIX TAPES FOREVER BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
