ALOT of people in land-locked poverty stricken countries have these.. iodine levels in the body are the only way of preventinmg these things.. and the most common source of iodine comes from the SEA/seafood. So countries/provinces that have no ocean often get these... the only reason that the states/provinces mid-country dont have it is because most modern countries have only IODIZED TABLE SALT.. so you guys get what you need...
