Lucky Bamboo also known as Water Bamboo is not really bamboo at all. It's scientifikal name is Dracaena Sanderina and it is apart of the lilly family. It doesnt need soil, because it lives in water.

Lucky bamboo is the perfect plant for the person on the go! It is very easy to take care of, and needs no attention! No light, though it does enjoy indoor light especially flourescent, yum yum. All you need to do is keep it out of direct sun, and CHANGE THE WATER once every few days. Its a bit uppity so it needs purified water, NOT TAP.
