Talk to pistol for strip club info.

-The Frolic room on hollywood & Vine is nice.

-If your looking for hookers -(Hollywood) .

-Home Depot for paints supplys.

-If you want a "Graff-B boy store" that relates to every one (Even your 11 year old sister) yet still remains " Under ground" go to workmens or beat non stop on melrose.

(The back streets of melrose are cbs pieceing grounds, if you want to

get flicks of legals you might want to check there.)

Id stick with it being gay about 99.999% of the time. Its funny to because Dee pretty much sum's the whole typical L.A. attitude up right here either your so underground that no one besides you know's whats up or your not shit... its a shame.

Melrose has Workmens outlet. Next door to it is a shop called "24-7" literally a few stores down. Same exact stuff with some cheaper prices on stuff and some clearance stuff. there is also Fatbeats to check out for some CD's or records. Beatnon-stop has a few markers and mags. Check out the Hustler store on the border of Beverly Hills and Hollywood. There is also a Workmens at the Montebello Mall, but I doubt you'll head out that way. You'll probably never venture outta the west side or the valley.

Strip clubs. I recommend The Spearmint Rhino fully nude 18+ no alcohol. They have one in downtown next to Staples Center. And the one I frequent in city of Industry but again I doubt you'll be in the area. What part of LA are you going to be in maybe I can be of better assistance.

High Priest, don't you love it when theres 10 million graffiti writers chillin in front of the hip hop stores with their black books open, making stickers, attracting attention, trading stickers, showing off who signed their lil book, and acting reallllllly important?

Some even pass out flyers to the next dialated peoples concert!

I mean shit, i've met some cool heads around melrose, then theres 99% who blow me away with how hard they're trying to impress other people with their "hip hop" knowledge. These cats are the people who went on napster in 1999 to download anything that says "underground hip hop", read the ultimate hip hop bible, subscribed to while you were sleeping, looked up "GRAFFITI LEGEND'S AND THIER HISTROY" on yahoo.com (just so they know who you talk about when you mention some big dawgs) eat sleep breathe hip hop, rock tribal gear and say FUCK ECKO, (but secretly have an ecko sweater stashed in their drawer that they wear ever cold december)... and last but not least they've got a home made calender with nothing but Saber pieces for every month, including the famous L.A. river piece (which is also the calender's front page.)

And the women, yes yes yall, the women.. rocking that sexy lil kangol hat with the extra fat laces on those new baby blue shelltoes, with a messenger bag meant for keeping records made for djays... in your cute lil hoodie jackets, talkin bout "yo, my brother is a bboy, i tried it once, im a bgirl now too." and not to mention they're out renting the hip hop bible from their homeboys to be bout it bout it too, and secretly mad dogg other girls who know the real deal bout hip hop. why? because THEY want to be the only cool girl around who knows whats up with hip hop.. no other girl can know... because if another girl likes hip hop as much as she does.. then the guys into hip hop are gunna jock her too. word to all 5 allahs.

Oh and I forgot about how some can be actually cool, and not give a shit, and do what they do, just to do it.

I'm lucky, I only go to Melrose 1-3 times a year. I usualy stay clear of that side. I was going into Workmens and there's this white dude with dreads baggy clothes and shit passing out fliers. I have yet to see any guys representing blackbook style. Although at Fat beats one time I was walking upstairs and these 2 gay white boys were "mobbing" up the stair cases with fine line paint markers. I "checked" to see where they were from and supposedly from CBS. WTF?

There's so much cool shit to do in LA, why the hell you want to go a dumb graffiti hip hop store. Do you really want to buy some shitty marker for $8 that doesn't even work, or some $50 wigger sweaters? Stick to the basics... stick to Pilots! Melrose sucks! The only thing Melrose is good for is Japanese tourist and chicks with fake tits.

I say stick the touristy shit for fun.

1. Take pictures of the Hollywood sign. But don't even think about getting close it. That shit has 10 sattlelites around it.

2. Cop a tag on one of the blank stars on Hollywood Blvd, take a picture, and show it off to your friends back home.

3. Go to the Santa Monica Prominade on a Saturday night and take pictures of all the freaks. During the day, go to Venice and take pictures of all the freaks. Don't buy film at Venice during the day... shit cost $10!

4. Go to the Belmont tunnel DURING THE DAY and preferably on the weekends (unless you want to get shot). Some pretty cool older heads paint there sometimes, and if you're lucky you'll see something worth flicking.

5. Make someone take you to the Sunset strip on a Friday night. Walk around, check out all the girlies. If you're over 21 and you're dressed NICE, you can get into The Standard or The Sky Bar for free.

6. Don't forget to check out the Hustler store for all your horny needs. You might even run into your favorite porn star!

7. Stay away from anybody that tries to preach to you about hip-hop! I mean, what the fuck! Just RUN AWAY!!

8. Drive through South Central to get your windshield cleaned by a crackhead for free.

9. If you have money, go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. If you go with the right people, that place is soooo fun!

10. Check out Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Where else are you gonna fucking get fried chicken and waffles at the same time? Besides, you can be sitting in the same chair as one of your favorite rappers! Then you can look at pictures of your favorite rappers all over the wall. Don't get fooled by the menu, stick to FRIED CHICKEN AND WAFFLES! If you're gonna order something, order whatever the resturant is known for, or else you're gonna get jipped. For example, my friend from New York came out here and ordered a chicken sandwich at a place that is know for giant burritos! That chicken sandwich was smaller than my fist. Don't make that mistake!

11. Try In-N-Out Burger. Some people say it's overrated, but hey! It's cheap, it's fresh, and it's damn good.
