smokejuda Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 i got fired becuase this company i was workin for hires out a third party to do back ground checks.. well the hired agnecy said i had a felony.. well now three months later my probation officer finally tells me that i dotn have a felony... can i sue the agency for (damn i dotn remember what it is called but its when someone makes you look bad without any background to it) i mean shit i lost my job becuase of some clerical problem they had... anyone have any advice maybe or just any insight... But really was your job that great that you want to go through all the hassle and money of sueing. Fuck them and get a better job instead . ASER1NE Posted April 16, 2005 Share Posted April 16, 2005 Well yeah its plausible, you can sue anyone you want for almost anything in the states but will you win is the key question. And even if you do will you win enough money to cover all the costs of court and lawyers etc.... Its super expensive and would probaly take a few months.......I doubt its worth it .
