CLAYTONCROWN Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 So 2 days ago on tuesday i am walking along and out of the blue i get this pain in my left testicle like someone had just kicked me there, this worries me but i shrugged it off thinking it would go away in time. I go to sleep and wake up on wednesday and it is still somewhat there but not nearly as sore. Thinking it will be completely gone in another day i disregard it and dont go to the docter. Now its thursday and it hasnt gone away and it feels a little bit worse then yesterday so obviously im off to see the docter about good ole' lefty. Has this ever happened to any one on here? This is all i found on the internet 10. Do you have mild tenderness around one testicle? yes -> Your symptoms may be from a less tender form of EPIDIDYMITIS. -> See your doctor. That's something else that can cause intense soreness. I know it fucking blows, but go to the doctor- it's what needs to be done. Especially if the pain continues... mine went away and is off and on. CLAYTONCROWN Posted June 3, 2004 Author Share Posted June 3, 2004 Just got back from the doctor. she poked and felt around and came to the conclusion that i have a mild case of epididymitis which is sort of like the torsion thing and it isnt too serious. She ordered a ultra sound but until then i am just supposed to take advil 3 times a day and if it gets worse or doesnt go away to go back or to a hospital. Apperently its very common in bike riders but it can happen when you do just about anything even when youre sleeping. Careful with your nuts kids. THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU. Anyway one morning about half way thru the semester I woke up with what I can only describe as being the worst testicle related pain ive ever felt, seriously it felt like my nuts were in a vice of some sort, it was just awful. So I get out of bed and stammer into my mothers room and proceed to tell her "umm.. My testicles hurt, I need to go to the doctors." After about four hours in the ER im greeted by this 70 year old physician who takes a look at my situation and comes to the conclusion that i have a bruised scrotum (this is the best part) that was caused by me, while I was sleeping i jerked my knee up as a reaction to something (dream, etc.) and hit myself in the balls. I have an infected testical. which is relieving i guess cause TESTICULAR TORSION requires surgery. Yes thats right girls, clayton has an infected testi. Dont go too wild with desire. rental Posted June 5, 2004 Share Posted June 5, 2004 i think i read some story about some guy that wrote in a graff mag having that testicular torsion thing. he said something about how it felt like his nuts were in a vice, too. he also said the surgery wasnt as bad as he thought. especially since it relieved all his pain. something about the muscle or legiment (sp?) getting wound up too tight?
