Killing for money: is it worth prison?

    Discussion started by nocalfr8tr - Mar 20, 2002

i hope you have all heard about the mcnabney murder in california. if not, i'll summarize for you. a sacramento area lawyer had been missing for months. he owned a succesfull law office and had a great wife, or so he thought. one of his employees finally reported him missing and the police recently found his body. his wife was the main suspect and fled to florida with her 17 year old daughter and was arressted the other day. the accomplis...a 21 year old girl. now, this girl was an attracktive young woman who was class president at vacaville high school and graduated in 1998. mr mcnabney had been paying her 3,000 dollars a month as a secretary for his firm, and the prospect of her losing that money once she realized what his wifes plan was (the wife and girl were very good friends), she joined in. basically, the poor guy was poisoned for his loot. the sad thing isnt that this girl was so young, it is that she helped murder a human being. the very thought of no more trips to the mall must have broken her heart, forcing her to join in on the heinous act of murder, and spend the dead guys money. is money worth killing? are dissed freights worth killing?
anyways, what really struck me was seeing her on tv. a 21 year old girl with the innocent look of a 7 year old who spilled her red kool aid on the white carpet, being escorted in cuffs to spend many years in, gulp, prison! shes only 21, and now shes going to spend a lot of her life in prison just because she couldnt live without the hot new thong from victoria's secret. i just want you all to put yourselves in the position of murder for money. is money worth many years of your life? is it worth getting your ass raped in prison? i'm not looking for any big headed graffiti responses here, just some honest truth on your feelings towards the reality of prison.

if you do it right, you wont get caught. there are plenty of serial killers out there that killed multiple people and never got caught, take the zodiak killer for example, he killed plenty of people, and wrote alot of letters to newspapers, and no one has been tied to the crimes as of today

i would have no problem taking the life of another human. i seriously thought about it for awhile, just to see if i could do it and get away with it, it was a daily thought i had, when i had some mental problems going on, i would always be looking at people thinking if they would be someone i would want to kill. the typical person that i found i would like to kill, was girls between the ages of 16-25, that where attractive, average hight, average weight, with short blond hair.

sorry if anyone take that to mean more than it is

Dont we all think about killing?

hey dos, i think all of us have stared at someone, thinking to ourselves, damn, i could kill him/her. just push her down the hill, or hold his head under water, or slice his throat while he's sleeping. kill for no reason! i know its weird, but i think we all do it, if we admit it or not. but to kill for money seems wrong. so does not having a reason, but thats a common short circuit of the mind for most humans. i see money as a powerful obsession. i cant say i hate money cause i want a lot of it. it just makes shit easier. but to kill someone for it, now, id rather earn it.

Murder is murder is murder. Doesn't matter why you do it, if you kill someone, you're gonna get punished.....

yeah, you're right. its just there's times i draw the line when someone truly deserves to be murdered, for your own reasons. as tease said, if someone fucks with your family, sometimes death is the only option for them. and most likely, if they're still alive, it may be the only option for you! you just gotta act first.

I totally agree man. Hell if anything happened to my family, even my friends, I'd go out and get revenge. Trouble is the justice system doesn't see it that way. Murder is a crime, therefore you'd get punished even if it was revenge.....

you do make a point, but i dont want to kill for money, or because some one pissed me off, iv been at the point where i want to kill someone just to kill someone, there have been days where i look at every other person on the street and think about weather they would put up too much of a fight or night. iv taken it to the point where i have the exact act planned out in my head, and the only thing stoping me is lack of time and lazyness

To me, there is NO justification for murder of any kind. I don't care if it's human, animal, whatever...

I have no problem whatsoever with brutally beating someone who fucked with my family, but I would never kill.

There's just something inside of me that is strongly opposed to death of any kind.

Money is one of the least valuable things to me, unfortunately, like woman - can't live with it, can't live without it.

so ud beat the hell out of some dude that fucked up your family? so he can come back and take care of you? fuck that, id get revenge on anyone that fucked with my friends or my fam. but that just me. i wouldnt kill someone just to jkill someone though. i mean u could look at some guy on the street and be like i could kill that guy. but then just think that that guy also has some life that u dont know about. like he couldve raised himself, is supporting a family or what not. its always crazy to sit back and study people and think that every single person has their own life and a story. that prolly why i dug american beauty so much, its like the whole concept of the film.

depends who I kill, what I'm paid, and how long I have to spend in the jernt... I have no problem with the concept of killing for pay, soldiers do it daily. Killing for greed is always shitty though, everyone has a mother.
