ok..

 

so i have been loading songs onton itunes for a hot minute when i realized that i have been importing songs as M4A/ aac audio files.

 

i finally recognized the problem and switched import options to Mp3...

 

im wondering how i can convert this M4a files.. into mp3 files..

 

if anyone knows how please let me know.

Is there any specific reason you want them as .mp3s? It's been pretty widely established that AAC > mp3, so unless you need them for an mp3 player or to share, I wouldn't bother...

 

Otherwise I recommend the re-rip unless you want to put up with more soundquality loss.

As far as I know, there is no way to do that conversion, I believe AAC files have some sort of mild DRM limits on them.

 

*Scratch that, the ones with DRM have the m4p filename, which is what you get from the iTunes Store. m4a's are good to go.
