I personally know three or four computer programmers who worked 7-days-a-week re-writing code, and then moved their families to a remote location shortly before New Year's Eve, 2000. I asked this one guy, "Do you think it will really happen?" And he said "Better safe than sorry--if we lose electric power, the world will be upside down." I'm not too worried.
