dkab Posted January 13, 2005 Share Posted January 13, 2005 I just got my iPod fixed, and the software has been reset. I bought the iPod second hand and didnt get the CD that has the software for the iPod. An error comes up when i open iTunes, saying that i need to download and install software onto the ipod, which would mean having the internet (which uses my one and only functioning USB port) as well as having the iPod's USB connected. Zack Morris Posted January 13, 2005 Share Posted January 13, 2005 ^^^wonk saggin I got mine through some strategic dumpster diving. you don't have to be logged onto the itnernet to download the ipod updater software. download it first then after you have it on your computer hook up your ipod and run the utilities.
