only if you jump in front of a really big mean dude (or dudette) making yourself look like a total idiot, they might throw your pansy ass to the back of the plane.

simple answer.

when you are in a plane/car/train/etc...wether you are sitting down or standing up, you are going just as fast. you are moving, but YOU are not moving. Understand? so if you jump on a plane, you will go in the air and land back down, because you dont just stop in mid air. you dont just lose speed from whatever mph the plane goes to complete 0 just from jumping. when you jump off a swing, do you stop in mid air and fall straight down? no. you go onward with the motion of the swing and fall toward the ground further away from the swing. do you understand?

Actually Makros you're wrong ...

The question originally asked is answered by Newton's First Law which states: Objects allready in motion tend to stay in motion unless acted upon by another force ...

This is exactly the same as throwing a penny in the air in a car while the car is doing 60 mph ... the only way to get the penny to hit the back window is to hit the brakes...

And in an airplane the Fc (Force Centripital) is to big and you don't weigh enough to be affected in any great way ...

So your answer is right ... but for the wrong reason.
