Ethreadzny2
Isn't it wierd how life is full a cycles of coolness. Those days are long over. You hit a high point then it regresses back down again. Those that are living it up High School, do it now, because after high school you become nothing again.

CinchedWaist
you are right. i was pondering this yesterday, in fact. My mentality is a bit different, however. It seems like i go through a high, perfectly balanced moment every few years or so, then it goes back down. and up, and down. Its bad for me b/c i become verrrry nostolgic and try to live life the way it used to be, as opposed as being in the now. i guess w/o the bad/bland times we wouldn't recognize the good. Ethreadzny2
Your absoulutely right, it comes a point in a persons life were they start comparing the present with the past. And the good doesnt seem to compare to the good of younger days. I guess it is more responsabilty and real life stress.
26SidedCube
It stems from being carefree and you'll never be that carefree ever again. It sucks because I know I'll never be able to re-create the times I had with my me and mine but it's good because I know I had 'em and I wouldn't trade those times for anything. Who knows, people never REALLY change. Everyone still has that flare deep down. It's too bad adulthood forces you to second-guess yourself to silence. Ethreadzny2
^well put. Its just alot of the choices made during adulthood are permenant. Like is this mohawk and slayer shirt going to hold over well at the office.
!@#$%
sorry, but i'm cooler than i've ever been ..it's taken a long time. i wasn't cool at all in high school i didn't party, didn't drink, didn't do shit except go to shows and raves. eventually, that all changed. but i spent the last ten years getting better at graffiti doing a ton of traveling graduating college while intoxicated getting arrested being put down with a crew dropping the automobile and riding a bike etc etc etc. and as far as responsibilities/carefree attitudes my car accident last year cured me of a lifelong depression and suicidal tendency i am happier and more content than ever in great shape no kids no husband no mortgage no problem
Guest
I was hoping you found a box of old pics and decided to share. I remember being in my teens and thinking that the people who realy had fun in life were all in their 20's. Mostly it's true, but now that I'm mid-20's I can see that there's a lot of fun to be had in the 30's. Well not everyone.... but there are some people who just seem to love life more and more as it goes along. All though the teens I knew that there was an exciting future for me. Well now I'm here and yes, it's good to be here, but what's next. why cant the search find Saturn's Return?
