^ my test proved to me that there's no minimum number of characters
required to start a new thread. There's a 'check message legnth' button
right below, so it's already counting.... so why not set a minimum?

maybe something like 40 words per reply and 100 to start a thread.
That might save you guys some serious housekeeping. Just thought I'd share.

  3. C'mon man, you know its not a wordcount issue...quality is quality and garbage is garbage...to be prefectly honest i prefer a moronic sentence than a moronic paragraph...besides that, i've seen dope threads made with 3 words

Yeah, the "4 words only thread" was dope.
Benches threads can often have no words.
    Pictures speak louder than words.
This post engineered to have 39 words only.
Count 'em if you really want to.
    So it wouldn't work.

    ^^

Shit, that post almost looks like poetry.

But seriously, people would resort to filling up posts with extra useless words, and typing completely random stuff that doesn't make sense but will fill space up, like the time when I went down to the shops to find some peanut butter. In fact I don't really like peanut butter but my mother used to buy only peanut butter when I really wanted jam. Jam is only a couple of letters away from spam, and if you look this post could be considered spam and would be an example of what would happen if you put in a 40 word limit.

As long as you can touch type it's easy to bullshit without effort. Like I just did.

And you'd kill Makros. You heartless bastard.

P.S. Oh, and sorry for shooting your idea down like that. I see exactly where you're coming from, and trust that if I could, I'd happily ban fucktards from 12oz. None of teh hard feelingz?

    we cool el spikeo!

No tesser... it's characters not words.
If you do a flick post with the tags then you'll
have enough characters to get into the thread.
There's no way to automatically guage content,
but it could make things easier.

or maybe even just put a limit on starting threads. That's the big one.
