I was arrested for racking paint, normally a class A misdemeanor but as I had a prior retail theft from 4 years ago, they enhanced it to a class 4 felony which carries a possible 1-4 years. I only got 18 months and thanks to the overcrowding, good behavior, county time, etc. I was out in 90 days but I am now a convicted felon with all the negative bullshit that applies. I only offer this to say to those that are all about the racking, be careful. There are potential serious lifelong reprocussions to it. Every conversation went "What are you in for?" "Retail Theft" "What did you steal?" "Spray Paint" "What, were you huffing?" "Of course I was. I just looked at that shit like summer camp and chilled, played cards and shit, read books, write letters. Fuck bein a officer bitch, im not servin lunches, takin sheets, passin out medicals, none of that shit, ima sit on my block and fuck with niggas all day. tell him to have fun (haahha), don't be scared, that type shit will get you ran quick. don't know where yall live, but in fla, prison gets real fuckin ugly if you look like a target. im sure it's the same everywhere, just be natural, be yourself and you'll be ok. that first week or two is the worst if you don't know nobody, cause niggas don't know you yet and don't trust you. If hes a spiritual dude, tell him to get involved in the religious shit that be goin on, prayers, niggas talkin bout how life be, that'll help make friends.
