How do you feel about advertisement? Tv,billboards etc...

Now and days we are surrounded by corporate bombarding us with ads left and right am I the only one who feels they strip people of their individuality and creativity?

I agree with your message. The one part of bill boards I like is when they are used for a canvas! As for the computer I use Ad Block to remove the annoying advertisements.

I never really pay attention to ads.

taking over the public eye space and the only thing allowing them is the money theyre paying for everything with..fuck em..paint over them.

I never thought of ads as a motivation for graffiti. But it's pretty fuckin cool

i'd do a billboard because they're cool spots, not for subversive interweb points.

painting billboards is cool if youre msk level or just writing "FUC THE POLICE" or something

ads are cool sometimes. ignoring them is part of life

i hate ads though, for the most part.

sometimes i see some good ones

but netflix basically ruined regular tv for me - i cannot stand to watch commercial breaks, even on mute.

i did see some ads i liked in The Poisoner's Handbook - a docu about early forensic science.

I feell like old ads were more meanigful in many ways. Certainly there were a lot of old ads that were works of art in themselves. Ads these days, you're bombarded by crap ad nauseum. Older ads didn't have to rely on emotions such as disgust or annoyance, for examples, to sell product.

earlier ads were constrained by standards of decency that came with cultural norms. things that were "bad taste" weren't done.
