Combine Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1 and 2 and every rob zombie music video and then make the movie suck. And you have house of 1000 corpses. -Rage- Posted April 13, 2003 Share Posted April 13, 2003 Holy shit. I saw this movie last night. It was awesome. Rob Zombie really tried to make it look like a classic horror flick. He even used some of those cheesy horror sound effects. I could have done without some of the film efffects he used (if you see the film you'll know what I'm talking about). He also threw in some of his own instrumentals in there. As for the mureder scenes.. hot damn! There are people getting cut, chopped, beaten, and shot. Guest DMX Posted April 14, 2003 Share Posted April 14, 2003 i guess i enjoyed it. i'm a huge horror movie afficionado and i like the idea of trying to bring back the old style of horror movies but it was basically a modernized ripoff of texas chainsaw massacre. it was quite over-edited which got really annoying at some points. the whole thing was pretty gory though i'll give it that much.
