so yeah, I recommend seeing it. Mos def has a slight english accent/attitude. And some good casting. I never read the books, but pretty much had the whole thing explained to me several times by doods I know that did read the books. Anyways, worth seeing

I will see this soon, I read the books when I was 9 or 10. I'm looking forward to it. Anyone posts spoilers and they'll die.

Hmm I'm not so sure about this one. Looks like 'Spaceballs' or 'Dune' or something.

The books are great. I'm going to be disappointed if they fucked it up.

thats the only thing thats stopped me from seeing it. I'm such a die hard fan of the book that I would hate to see them fuck it up even though I've been waiting 2 years for this movie to finally come out.

...it's good...i read the book (...well one of them...) when i was a kid...the movie was definanyly entertaining...english humor, only americanized enough to be able to capitalize on mass market...mos does a good job (...although i wouldn't classify it as an english accent...he just speaks more articulating and slightly uppity...) along with the rest of the cast...the puppets rule!...

...worth seeing...whether you've read the books or not...

i saw it last night and it was great.

for people worried about it not being enough like the book.....the author actually helped adapt the screenplay. hopefully that should put your minds at ease
