Quoted post uh, rather, hip hop is an element of graffiti. remember what came first- mutherfuckers painting trains in bell bottoms and polyester listening to Thin Lizzy, Led Zep, Sly Stone and so on. graffiti is probably more disco than anything else! before they tried to condense everything into one nice little box called hip hop, these overhyped elements all had their own histories. i'm a huge proponent of rap music, but it's not that cut and dry. nice surprise post.
