yes I know this is Ch.Zero and not the feedback fourm,
but my idea really only applies to this area.

    Make More Stickies please

I just think that the turn over of stickies should be much quicker.
Take for example PMB's Vacation thread. He put a heap of work into it
and it should probably be a sticky for about a week. I'm not saying that
all 'quality' threads should be stuck on top, but if someone really goes
beyond the ordaniary, it's a good way for others to notice.

The 5K treads from mamerro and pmb could have been a sticky for a few days.
J's mega awesome super thread could be stuck for a few days too.
makros actually being semi understandable was another one.

you see what I'm getting at here?

    ------------

    feel free to delete this

  2. You know there's a sticky for this kind of stuff, right?

    not a bad idea....
the general idea is that threads take care of themselves. if its worth stayin at the top, the buzz and feedback keeps it there.
if its a stupid thread, it sinks quicker then Dean's ratings.

  9. I think this was covered with the nomination of pics of hot girls for a sticky back then, my opinion is that stickys get invisible for active users...the best way to keep a thread up and running aswell pay tribute to the maker is not leaving it drop to page 2

What about just having the sticky threads in a folder at the top instead of just the threads.

This way you could have multiple threads stickied and save space.

i dont think stickyin super duper threads has a point, like dusty said, if a thread is good enough, or people look at it enough to warrent a sticky, it will already be at top all the time.

i look at the stickes as useless threads, because they never really get updated, that's why i just bump the good threads.. if that made sense:rolleyes:
