sectorTVA Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 i would try it, but the way you put the problems are confusing, the correct notation for exponents in type written form is ^2 or ^3 and so on....so a squared would look like this- a^2 ...if you retype them i might try them out...im okay at factoring.... Guest bug Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 14abc + 18a^2bc - 21ab^2 + 16a^4bc^3 = 14abc - 21ab^2 + 18a^2bc + 16a^4bc^3 =7ab(2c - 3b) + 2a^2bc(9 + 8a^2c^2) ALSO AN ANSWER: 14abc + 18a^2bc - 21ab^2 + 16a^4bc^3 =14abc + 16a^4bc^3 + 18a^2bc - 21ab^2 =2abc(7 + 8a^2c^2) + 3ab(6ac - 7b) there might be more possibilities, but you get the idea... -50c^3d^2p^4 - 10acd + 20ap^4 =10(-5c^3d^2p^4 - acd + 2ap^4) ALSO AN ANSWER: -50c^3d^2p^4 - 10acd + 20ap^4 = -50c^3d^2p^4 - 10a(cd + 2p^4) ALSO AN ANSWER: -50c^3d^2p^4 - 10acd + 20ap^4 =10cd(-5c^2dp^4 - a) + 20ap^4 there might be more possibilities, but you get the idea... somethings not right. ususally when you learn basic algebra things factor to cute little problems, this shit is just as ugly as when started...
