MESTHREE Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Hey everyone. I am trying to buy a digital camera on ebay for not a million dollars and I have no idea what I should get. Id like something that can be used as a webcam with sound. I havent been able to find a decent quality camera that has both these options, atleast 2 megapixel and webcam with sound. Also Id love one with a rechargeable battery but it isnt 100 % necessary. Anyone ideas of what might fit? Oh yah.. If I have a web cam already (I have a shitty one) with no sound can I just get a mic and use that for video conferencing? Anyone Anyone??? Thanks in Advance!! T=E=A=S=E Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 i got a CANON A70 3.2 megapixel and i love it. couldnt be happier. easy to use, takes great pictures, its durable... etc. cost me $299 or so when i bought it a few months back, should be able to find it cheaper than that im sure. /highly recommended. I've recommended the site to a lot of people, and everyone has been pleased. Here's a direct link to the digital camera section. Use the links on the lefthand side to sort through the cameras.. Webcams are so damn cheap that you can get one, and then spend some money on a decent cheap camera. Is there a particular reason you want 2in1? I wanted a 2 in one cause I am trying to just cut costs but I think tess is right that I have to just buy two seperate things.... I dont want to go to a store cause I want to buy i on EBAY. Im cool with something refurbished. Anyhow... I think I might go for a fuji finepix or a canon powershot. Havent fully decided yet. You know I have asked techie questions on here before and for every eral answer I always expect about 5 bullshit ones so... eh.. I've played with this camera a bit, it's fairly easy to use, and definitely worth the money. You'd crap your pants at the zoom on this camera alone..
