(while vice president dick cheney doesn't sit on the halliburton chair anymore he still holds 45.5MILLION dollars stock in the company)

    from june 2001 http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?p...un22¬Found=true
According to oil industry executives and confidential United Nations
records, however, Halliburton held stakes in two firms that
signed contracts to sell more than $73 million in oil production
equipment and spare parts to Iraq while Cheney was chairman
and chief executive officer of the Dallas-based company.

Halliburton wins contract on Iraq oil firefighting

    Thu March 06, 2003 08:31 PM ET

HOUSTON, March 6 (Reuters) - A Halliburton Co. HAL.N subsidiary Kellogg,
Brown & Root (KBR) has won the contract to oversee any firefighting
operations at Iraqi oilfields after any U.S.-led invasion, a Defense
    Department source said on Thursday.

KBR was widely viewed by many in the oilfield services industry as the
likely candidate to oversee firefighting in Iraq's oilfields. Halliburton
does extensive logistic support work for the U.S. military.

Vice President Dick Cheney served as Halliburton's chief executive
    officer from 1995 to 2000,

A possible beneficiary of Thursday's deal is oilwell firefighting company
Boots & Coots International Well Control Inc., with which Halliburton has
    had an alliance since 1995.

A Halliburton spokeswoman declined comment and referred all questions to
    the Defense Department.

Ha, odd you posted this today. My 'Stupid White Men' desktop calendar entry for Tuesday March 11:

'As CEO of Halliburton, one of the world's largest oil services companies, Dick Cheney oversaw human rights abuses in Burma, trade with Libya, trade with Iran, trade with Iraq (which he denied), and repeated attempts to loosen sanctions on the Taliban so he could trade with them, too. And we're looking for an Axis of Evil?'

I didnt know he still had stock in Halliburton, thats totally fucked up.

ha once more. I flipped my calendar. Wednesday March 12th.

'Dick Cheney's Halliburton set up a subsidiary in the Cayman Islands, where the company's taxes would be as nonexistant as the Island's Oil. From 1996 to 1998, 14 separate tax actions were filed against Halliburton entities.'

aside from cheney's apparent lack of scruples, i've always
found him to be a scary mother fucker..then i read this stuff
awhile back about this woman who had
an alchoholic father who abused her from birth. at some
point she claims he 'sold' her to the government for
experiments under the cia's mind science's umbrella
of super covert experimentation on the human mind, born
out of the mk ultra and related programs
dedicated to mind control..this lady claims her mind was
taken advantage of through fear and brainwashing and that she was
under government control and used as, among other things,
a toy for certain government elites such as daddybush and
dick cheney. there is some detail about an instance of cheney
and her being alone in some office in which she claims he
beats the shit out of her, threatens her life and sexually assaults her. the whole
thing is totally bizarre and very hard to take seriously, but
there is a pinch of discomfort to this story due to the fact an ex-cia employee
vouches for the cia's complicity and her story(then again, they have a relationship). on top of that, the government
apparently has custody of her daughter and this lady has taken the government
to court over the whole thing, claiming her daughter is part of a massive ring of brainwashed citizens under a highly compartmentalized security level, but the courts
stopped further proceedings due to 'national security issues'..and the case and
her daughter are apparently in limbo..
    its a weird ass read..and
obviously this is hard to swallow, but part of me has always
had this really creepy feeling about cheney...this exacerbated
my feelings, even if they are completely out of loonyville. there's
something pedophilac or something about him. anyone else
    get this vibe?
i think her website was called 'tranceformation of america' or something.....
