ok, so i recently started playing this again.

i loaded my file. so far i have the B license, A license, and the IB license.

i also have the integra type-r (j-spec). i thought i put a stage 4 turbo in that shit the last time i played but it turns out i didn.t

i also have the silvia in my garage. all tuned up. i don't remember buying that fucking piece of shit.

so anyway, i need tips.

i was thinking about getting rid of the silvia (i hate that car) and possibly getting the RX-7 as my "FR" car.

recommendations are welcome.

i fucking hate drifting when i don't want to.

i have gt3 aspect...drifting is the shit if you know how to use it exspecially in a tight race...thats a great game all around...gt4 will be out this summer...read a review in gamepro last month

are you sure? heard it will be released in the 4th quarter. well, i'm just playing GT3 to get my skills up for GT4. i really hope there's online play for it.

I remember gran turismo 3 being hard as fuck. Well, not necissarilly hard, but I got sick of racing the same track over and over again just to get a new air intake system.

update: after a few hours, i finally beat laguna seca in the amateur racing division for FR cars. turns out i just needed to adjust the gears a lot lower than what i had originally.

on the next track, tokyo r246(?)

how in the fuck do you beat an RX-7?

no matter what, it still beats me by 15 seconds.

oh well. i'll figure it out tomorrow.

my personal fav in gt3 is the nissian skyline gtr v spec 2 r 34 model tuned out complety at around 1100 hp..

i also use a toyata supra alot or the f1 i recived from beating the endro at super speed way if you have a f1 it will beat alost every car in game hands down

a funny thing, i bought that game in January, played it steadily for a week, and then abruptly it seemed pointless, just going in circles. i haven't played since.

fuck i just wrote out this huge relpy and went to post, and this shit froze on me so now i must summerize my monster post into a short one because of my frustration

1: play with a heavily modified tureno sprinter (turbo or non, i like the NA myself) with no traction/stablility control. its hella fun and great for learning because you will be faster if you can master this (and maybe you will beable to beat the rx-7!) i beat it with my sprinter after a few tries. (side note: turn off the background music and crank it so you can really hear that 4age scream!)

anyways, for money problems try doing the oval track over and over. its repetative, but you get the cash with the least effort.

also, try tweaking the suspention here and there, and buy some sticky tyres. it helps. sometimes the smallest change can make a huge difference in the reaction you car exibits.

also, for the tranny gear changes, its not lowering the gear, its making it closer :) playing with the tranny is how i was able to defeat the rx7. i do beleave i made the low gears a bit taller and closed up the last two a bit, to make the most of the rpm. note: the fully adjustable 6-speed is very nice in any ride.

also, just because the car is sooper powerfull doesnt mean that its better, balance is key young grasshopper (hence the NA setup in my sprinter)

Yea this game rocks. Its all about the Indy car, mad handling! Ive got the got the game somewhere around 70 percent done. I dont ever see myself completing it
