    Major companies that import Middle Eastern oil (for the period 9/1/00 -

    Shell................ 205,742,000 barrels
    Chevron/Texaco....... 144,332,000 barrels
    Exxon /Mobil......... 130,082,000 barrels
    Marathon............. 117,740,000 barrels
    Amoco................ 62,231,000 barrels

    If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18

    Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

    Citgo 0 barrels
    Sunoco 0 barrels
    Conoco 0 barrels
    Sinclair 0 barrels
    BP/Phillips 0 barrels
    Hess 0 barrels

    dammit would be cheaper for me to buy a barrel a month i spend $30 a week on gas

    14-15$ on 88 octane weekly.

    i thought 93 would give me some extra miles a gallon this past week. i was wrong.

    DO not buy gas from the companies importing it from the mid east........

    100 octane
    104 octane
    110 octane
    116 octane

    all sunoco.
