    What are your favorite photo editing programs and which do you recommend? I Personally reccomend the Gimp.

    Paint Shop Pro7--im using 8, but they tried to make it all photsho- ish so i would reccomend 7.....much more basic; good if you just wana resize pictures and ish..

    Really? I used PSP for a while and it was alright, but the gimp is much better. It's free too. But it's not one of those windows things that does everything for you, so you have to type all the jpeg shit and everything.

    photoshop is the only one i use for normal photo editing

    I would say the best Photoshop-type program out there is Adobe Photoshop.

    I've used pretty much everything there is but photoshop is king hands down...for minor stuff i use a small freeware program called irfan view....its great.

    i just dont like photshop cause i dont need 90% of the features, long startup,and big program

    photoshizzle is the business however fireworks compresses web images better then photoshop.
