thursday -thanks chris for the hint on these gents.

 

modest mouse -jimmy kept mentioning these fellas to me, damn good impression they've made on me.

 

ramones -no explanation needed.

 

infest -grindcore legends right there. lost and found has a comp from them.

 

propagandhi -sick album. can't sleep on this.

 

blood for blood -the 'at the bar' song is worth it alone.

 

anti-heroes -good good stuff. definate must have. underneath the underground alone is awesome.

 

starkweather -must have for those grim moods that roll in without warning.

lately ive been listening to ATLiens again, along with stankonia...

 

pulley - these guys definately rock out, listening to them reminds me of driving around austin late at night

 

the refreshments - same as pulley, but different style music.

 

vandals - cant go wrong.

 

cake - new cd's hot to duluth.

 

lagwagon - definately listening to them right now. like...right now.

I'm fucking tired of those rap fag kids who say they write and act all hard and are wearing the brightest colored and shinyest kani threads their mom bought,booming fucking shitty rap music, thinking they're down with hip hop cuz they "write" (scribble) and you check out their work and its beyond toy.

 

that situation is in surplus were i live,

and thing is, those kids probably quit after a year realizing how shitty they are.

 

so wen writers say they're into good music other than rap, i find it interersting.

hey good lookin on the modest mouse man. i dropped an emailski about the show. drop a line. thursday is pretty good stuff too. it took sometime for me to get into it but i'd definately recommend it.
