GOOD MUSIC/BAD MUSIC

jah

Recommended Posts

everyone can post good music here. i thought maybe itd be a good way of discovering some dope shit that not many people have heard of or just shti u like. or list shit that u dont like. i just started listening to jj cale. his shits raw! remy shand's new single is tight too.

on another tip, what the fuck is up with some of these dutch rappers? ive heard soem proper shit but a lot of its just the gayest, most toy shit ive ever heard. who's heard of "def rhymes"? hes one of the most retarded motherfuckers ive ever heard. maybe it comes off worse for me cuz i have to see the video and acting along with it which makes it twice as gay. theres other dutch rappers that r just wack as fuck but i dont know what theyre called.

dj krush and Toshinori Kondo

In case you're wondering, Toshinori Kondo is a trumpet player, and the nature of the noise he produces fits right into the style of music that DJ Krush is usually known for. In fact, in a lot of Krush's beat-heavy songs, horns play a major part of the moody, giving a new life to the usually mid to downtempo grooves that he weaves. This release is no different, either, with Krush providing the programming, beats, and other noises, while Kondo toots his horn over the top of it all. Instead of being looped or of an otherwise sampled nature, though, Kondos trumpet playing is much more energetic and inspired that the horns you'll hear on other recordings that have sort of the same style.

(I didn't write the paragraph, it's a review.)
