ALRIGHT... man u can draw no doubt about it... u have a very good eye for artistic type stuff..... this is what u need to do... break your letters into bars... and flex them... start with supper simple shit ... like look at fonts... keep a unversial 3d like all goin to the right left down up whatever.... focus on how the letters bend and flow wiht each other... like how the letetrs swing togather.../// look at alotta walls and look wat what letter formations or and do not... keep goin man... dont stop... and dont worry about having soft or round edges... dont make everythign so liek rulered out... allow more flow... there is a point where every writer looks at shit and tries to see hwat works event he best writers still do.... but there will come a point where uc an just fereestyle shit and know yer letters real well... u wont even realize it till after u start.... liek i cant rember the point i realize dit... btu just keep sketchin ... and painting so u can paint what u sketch.

the best advice I can give it to start by simply making straight letters, and keep doing it until you can do them well. Once you can handle doing straight letters start putting a little curve in them. Keep adding style and your letters will look solid. You really just need to understand the form of the letter more than anything else.

heres my hands. i really would like your opinion as far as what i should do with these, which elements to keep which to throw away...

basically i dont want my hand to be razor sharp, and i dont want it to be all curves either...so i'm tryin to find balance! help :o

those hands arnt bad im feeling all of em except for the 2nd one... just keep working on the hands and listen to everybody and try to get your letters down.. start off with throwup letters, then from there block letters, like everyone said you seem pretty good at drawing so you will probably get it down quicker... sketch pen only for your letters, sketch sketch the same thing over again. Try to see something you like remember and try to apply it to your sketches, dont straight out bite, but get influenced by it. post your improvements, im very curious to see. i wish i could draw like you, im only ok at letters =[ oh well im workin on it,...
