Have any stories about doing something nice for someone out of kindness that you really didnt have to do and had wierd or unexpected results? What ever happened to holding the door open for old people or girls, stopping on the side of the road to help people out, lettign someone borrow a cup of sugar or some shit like that?

I often find cell phones and never return them because the people dont call it or it doesn't work battery is dead or whatever. Recently I went out of town with my mom on business and what not. At a rest area on the way out of town I found another one of those damned phones I quickly picked it up (it was a camera phone i wanted to keep it) hoping nobody would see me in case it was theirs . Then I noticed all these old people on a bus, what if it was one of their phones? I then thought of all the other phones i had found and not returned them all the people that were without text messages and annoying ringtones. I decided this phone is making it back no matter what. I rifled through the list of names in the phone I found out that this person has the same area code as me, the phone still worked so I called afew of the numbers nobody answered so I left a couple of messages. A few weeks later I give up and leave the phone at my house. I left my house to go to the store, when I came home my dad says someone came by to get that phone, they left this letter for you. I opened it up and there was $40 in it and a business card. It was dope I didn't expect that. And yes it was an old person they were a realestate agent.
