WITH SOME CRANK CALLS! ODS: This is the Starbucks, no? Star:Yes. ODS: I am from Holland, you see? Star: Yes. ODS: Do you have eh Diahrrea? STAR:No ODS: You do not have a the diahrreah? Star: No sir ODS: My wife has eh the diahreah. Star: That's too bad. ODS: thank you Another one. ODS: (I was using a small tape recorder wich I sped up this time., so it sounding like a small asian woman) ^^^ SAME TEXT Star: Laughing, What? I'm pretty sure those kid's parents aren't gonna complain about their kid getting a head start on a good work ethic. The purpose of big business and franchising is...to make money. All the money. Let's take starbucks since that is what we are talking about. Their goal is to get ALL of the coffee money. They don't want to share a single penny with JOE SHMOE LOCAL COFFEE JOINT. When people think 'coffee' it is their goal to make sure that they think starbucks. That's why they are dippin into juan valdez territory by offering premium coffee beans at your local grocery store. If they shut down JOE SHMOE, good for them. They obviously have a strategy or offer something better than JOE, be it lower prices, cleaner environment or what have you. Broadway Cafe obviously has something that starbucks doesn't. Good for them. Starbucks loses.
