CIPHER_one
While driving cross country with some friends recently, we discovered signs directing us to "Frontage Rd" in just about every corner of the country. Can anyone explain this phenomenon to me?

Nekro
I think you're thinking of a fromage road, which would be a road made out of cheese.

26SidedCube
The Frontage Road is a place of journey... exploration. It is a metaphor for a path less travelled, where serendipity and discovery are the order of the day. A journey along this road is neither direct nor predictable. It is the adventure taken in an old car tooling down a winding stretch of open road. So much of what we are presented with today, comes to us in a series of menus, button bars, and other logical interfaces. But where is the magic?... the chance discovery. This Frontage Road parallels the physical roadways of our past... the family vacation in the heat of a summer's day. An ancient roadway full of curio shops... houses of mystery... and wayside diners. This is our past... and in some ways... our future. The Frontage Road is but another way to explore the world around us.
