I've only read one O'Reilly book, Practical Unix and Internet Security. They seem pretty on point. Thanks man.

browner, you might wanna check out this book called 'breaking the news'.. it's not really a political book, but looks at the news more in terms of how it functions as entertainment.... althought it does dance around topics like if a reporter can be too objective to the point of irresponsibility and such (something we obviously don't need to worry about).

    ..seriously....

anyone that claims a 'no spin zone' is
    a media genius.
    uh..
o'reilly used to claim he was awarded a huge journalism award
thing until al franken kicked his ass on tv about it.
o'reilly got pretty pissed but maintained it didn't
really matter whether is was a super prestigious
award(like he claimed) or a little piece of shit tin
trophy he won while at inside edition(reality). that's genius
    shit right there.
