today i took a jaunt down to a true railroad capital...topeka, kansas...home of the famed atsf and a big hq for bnsf and the well known sf maintanence yard...

first stop was downtown to the bnsf hq...needless to say they didnt like visitors. ill leave it at that.

next i went to the far end of the maintenence yard to get some flix of the scraps and pieces they had there..truly a beutiful place and i poured out some mt dew for all the lost units i saw.

check behind these units youll see an old passenger car, dont remember what company..

this is truly one of the most beutiful sights i have ever laid my eyes on...the picture doesnt really do justice...i guess its just me, but is this a fuckin amazing picture or what?

next it was time to go to the heart of the yard, first catch was a MUK

heres a scope of the mainyard..

down the ways in a grain elevator a dormant onorok was seen

Good change of pace on this post. That's cool that you got to have the "BNSF Experience". I think I'll do a Norfolk Southern Experience.
