This thread reminds of me a paper I wrote about how fat women in Nigeria are considered beautiful. They fat women are made in little huts where they're not allowed to do anything but eat, eat, and eat. Then they come out nice and plump in hopes of finding a decent husband.

    :)

Sweet. Deep down I am sure that is truly every woman's (hell mens) fantasy. Being able to eat anything and everything you want and being considered more beautiful the fatter you are. Wow what a picture. I would love to read your paper.

the other day..I was in a poster shop with a good friend..looking over antique photos..and matted mucha prints..and admiring how beautiful the full figured ladies were painted..when much to my surpirse..my friend piped up "yeah I here the whole anorexic look is on its way out" Im still laughing about that..

In some light..body types are a fad..I mean even the shape of peoples bodies have changed..you look at pictures of woman from the 1800's..they all look tired..an more manish.they were working those feilds..and chasing rugrats..heavy make up..and very broad features..to be thin was ugly...you go into the 40's and all of a sudden a square body is hip..hence flapper looks..the tall thin..shapeless appeal..then with the fifties..you get full figured women..like betty page and marilyn monroe..who both had 12-14 pant sizes..then the 70's hit..and twiggy herself was the hit..stick girls..now I open fashion magazines..and am swamped by pale chicks with red eye makeup..I mean looking on the brink of overdose and starvation..cheeks sucked in with glassy eyes,,So when my friend commented that the healthy look was coming back..I t just made me burst out in laughter in that small quiet shop..to think about..style taking over how we shape our bodies..so these pictures even if to the plain eye..are pretty ugly! haha..they have some truth..pretty comical all together really..

thats because in our in our extremely lame and materialistic society we are always constantly being told we are too fat,and we are not healthy, yet every time we turn on the damn tv,open a magazine, ordrive somewhere we are always getting unhealthy fattening bullshit pushed on us .Its fucked up. Also why did the artist draw a black guy and say that he was staying away from chicken? That just seemed a little fucking racists to me maybe its just me?
