if your shower takes longer than you'd like to heat up, run water out of the tub faucet first. It usually purges the cold water quicker...

fairly obvious, but it came to my attention that not everyone knows this.

Also, when you finish taking a shower and cut the water off, make sure to turn the shower handle back to the on position to release any water remaining in the pipes. This is good for people who live in cold places because you avoid any chances of having frozen pipes.

After a meal, if you can't brush your teeth, eat an apple. It'll clean your teeth (to a certain extent) and help with digestion, for later poopage.

Use candles. Their light is almost hypnotic. Some of my best relaxing is done with a few candles lighting the room. No electricity needed, plus if and when your power goes out, you'll be ready to roll. They're dirt cheap, too.

Correct usage of language is very powerful, especially in a court of law. And it can be very misleading/tricky

That’s how you can write bunk contracts, and that’s why people hire lawyers for business contracts and house contracts and shit

    See below

Owner is responsible for all repairs to the apartment, exclusive of major appliances.

One word can make a difference of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ of dollars to you, and when its lumped into a 50 page contract, most people won’t bother to read it.

Read everything you sign very carefully, twice. I guess that is the moral of the story

As a general rule of thumb, movies rated 7.0 or higher on IMDB are pretty decent.

Do with flicks as with chicks gentlemen. 7 or higher.
