freeque
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/londongraffiti/files/mes.jpg'> MES And that's not his best... Personally I can recognise that it all started in the US, but bearing in mind that you've got, what, a decade (?) extra behind you what I can't believe is that US writers completely own us UK boys. True, the scene is a little rough here (esp. London), but we have our "heads" as you yanks call them. We have our fair share of piecers and we have more than our fair share of bombers. Just saying, we're not all that far behind you all in all.

I've only seen his froe (on this site). I thought he was from the US. As for the "Euro-Trash" comment from ghoulsnightout, um.... what can I say? Post something better I guess. Yeh, it's a wall piece as opposed to a "freight" but personally I don't rate all those ONO ones (too complicated and fiddly - just pisses me off). I could post more UK stuff, but you give me some US burners to compare first. k?

Guest Ouija
Haha..Thanks. I don't think so. I'm not technically american anyways. I think it's pretty stupid to compare american styles vs european styles. Graffiti is not a national sport. It's an artform very personal to each individual. Some people never do a piece in their entire career, but bomb a lot in good spots. Some people do legal wall work and really push the boundaries of graffiti. Some focus on freight trains, some have amazing script, some can't do a 3D piece to save their life (me). I think at best you can compare one crew to another, or one writer to another. I guess graffiti is competitive, but not in team kind of way. Please don't try to score points for the home team. I'd hate to have to sew valvoline patches onto my painting bag for my corporate sponsors. ------------------ ouija13transcend3a [This message has been edited by Ouija (edited 05-30-2001).]

TeckFiftyOne
Where was modern graff started? Who has mad more time with the medium? We all add things, DAIM is the shit. ESPO keeps it real. Does it really matter? If it does to you then mabey you should start a competition. I would rather write, but then again I'm from the US...
