most definitely. sweet machine if you load up on ram. my only real criticism would be that there should have been at least 64mb, if not 128mb of video ram. regardless, this thing hooked up to a 20" apple display and bluetooth mouse/keyboard = sweetness.

i'll probably get one myself as a second computer.

i think its worth it if you already have the peripherals, or you can get them for less...like ebay or second hand.

its like having a desktop laptop.

looks about the size of my lacie external hard drive,
you dont have to look at a laptop lcd that strains the eyes, and use the shitty laptop keyboard.

I read that if you get one... do it from the online apple store.
Apparently they are just loading them up with perks at a better
    cost that retailers can do.

i would wait until the 2nd generation...just because apple usually either releases a vastly improved version, or scraps the shit pretty quickly...

    remember the g4 cube?

yeah... the cube had some marjor design flaws.
I'm not suprised it wasnt continued. Apple reinvents, not reworks.

I wonder when they're going to get back on the newton?

Still using the G-4 Cube myself at home. Still works great for most of my needs but runs
a little slow these days when using photoshop and Illustrator. My only complaint is
having to tip it over to get to the firewire and usb ports.
