yeah, i used to play drums when i lived in a house. now i live in an apartment and the drumset is in a closet, and i think its irritating my roomates cuz its something that never gets used yet takes up the whole closet. i need to hook up with a band but i can only play hardcore/punk, but i don't like that shit as much anymore and hardcore kids irritate me. i played for a live hiphop group for a little while but that was a dead end. i love hip hop, but keeping one beat while people rhyme is not very interesting musically. i go to the music store and see shiny new cymbals and i just sigh, waiting for the day i can find an affordable house.

you just can't fuck with jazz drummer.s
i knew this guy who was accepted into
this jazz program...they only accept 2 students a year, and
each additional year you want to attend(if you get in the first year),
    you have to audition again....
anyhow, this guy could play the most mind boggling shit...
you'd get uncontrollable spine shivers from the stuff he would
    nonchanlantly whip off...
    jazz drummers are inhuman.

Jazz drummers are fun to watch and listen to, but I can apreciate a good rock-n-roll drummer just as much, if not more.
