Not really expecting to get a huge response out of this...

There was this Stephan Hawking meets Dabros flash animation on here a while back and it didn't seem like too many kids understood. I was just curious as to how many of you on here are in the knowin'

Doctah Hooou

Yeah the theme music on that show was great. Orbital made a house remix of it.

The noise the TARDIS makes is a cello slowed down and played backwards.

^^^ Those were the Daleks... led by Davros from the planet Scaro(correct me if I'm worng). They weren't robots, but I think they were bionic. It was kind of an exoskeleton.

no doubt !

from WYWS...

What the hell are Space Monkeys? Where did they come from? Do they bite? Are they house broken? Who cares, they are fuckin’ cool. They are the creation of 32 year old James Marshall. The graffiti artist better known as DALEK. Now what the heck is a DALEK you are wondering. “It came from the “Dr. Who,” British television series. The DALEK’s are a race of robots that were created to destroy mankind. A superior race of artificial beings.” Sounds sweet, doesn’t it?

so we didn't first discover it, but I knew there was a connection.

Mate, you're thinking of Is there a doctor in the house by the KLF, not the orbital house version.

they both sample dr. who though.

Tom Baker was my favorite, too. I loved his ridiculous scarf. The few episodes he did with K9 were always my favorite (I must have been like 7 or 8 when they were airing on PBS.) I need to go on e'bay or something and get some of the videos.

Does anyone remember when they tried to bring it back on Fox in the mid 90s?

that's funny bro!

I always used to watch something before Dr.Who and I'd

run out of the room as soon as the opening theme came on.

Too bad I didn't actually turn off the TV,

so the music followed me around the house.

good old TVO. I remember getting to stay up late with mom

and watch Ely Yost's Saturday Night At The Movies.

Just to clear it up, then name is Davros, with a V... I have a D. Who Technical Manual, w/ all the specs on K-9, the TARDIS and the sonic screwdriver... plus all versions of Daleks and the Cybermen too...

some cream, it's signed by Jon Pertwee (the 3rd Doctor) and Tom Baker (the 4th Doctor)...
