    Ares is great, an ideal alternative to Kazaa (which is fucking terrible), even better than Kazaa Lite in my opinion.

    SoulSeek is great for downloading albums and that's mainly it.

    i use bittorrents for movies, shows, and things like that
    kazaalite ever so often
    limewire for music...

    ups - a lot of rare music and people aren't assholes like they are on other programs and let you actually download more than 3 files at a time.

    downs - not a lot of movies to download on there.

    soulseek used to be really great for finding music you couldn't find anywhere else... but recently, at least for me, it's been hard to find anything i search for... i don't think people are using it as much as they used to...
