Does this count as irony?

A few years ago my gf had a friend that liked her more than a friend and consequently tried to woo her away from me despitew knowing that she was in a relationship.

Fast forward to now. She still talks to this piece of work nbow and again and found out that he has a new love interest who lives across the hall from him. now here come the weird paralells...

1) Like my gf, this chick is asian

2) She has a a boyfriend who has the same name as me

3) He's using the same tacttics as before to make it happen.

I wanted A) your thoughts on this situation (no, i don't give a fuck that my gf still talks to this guy. he is more than aware of the reprecussions of what would happen if he ever tried anything again.) B) Would this fit the definition of irony?

I think it's bizarre. I am quite curious to see how this pans out.

Yeah, i thought it was quite weird. Like lightening striking twice.

And yeah, the neck stabbing thing has occurred to me on occassion but i think i'll leave that up to the kid whose gf this is. I'm just gonna laugh when blood splashes onto my shoes.

i will keep folks updated on this little weird drama
