I seriously doubt that New Era would be bought by Reebok. If they are purchasing New Era, where are they getting this money from? I know that come next hockey season, Reebok will officially unveil their hockey equipment line, complete with full scale advertising. That costs big money. InnerCityRebel Posted March 6, 2005 Share Posted March 6, 2005 No Reebok is not taking over New Era.Reebok just got the NFL and NBA contracts for hats,jerseys and other apparel.New Era did have some nice NFL hats last season before they lost the contract.Reebok making hats doesn't effect New Era too much due to them having the MLB contract.And let's face it that is a cash cow....
