does anyone know how to rename a hard drive?

    tell me if im being too intrusive, but why rename a hard drive?

    i guess c: is kinda boring

    Go to "My Computer," right click the fucking thing and hit rename.



    This is not rocket science.

    just call it what ever you want.however it may take it a while to catch on.after years of being :/c it might be a hard transition for it to be called steeve all of a sudden.

    i would use a hard drive utility program i have, because i don't know how to do it otherwise. remember that you can't rename the c drive, and if programs are installed on the drive you're renaming, you will have to fix shortcuts and stuff to reflect the new letter.
