even though it was meant metaphorical for the most part here it goes:

the lizards ass(butocks is better) is cover by the tail....thats why you dont see it)

A lizard thats sitting on its ass and eats its own tail looks like a sitted man that tries to suck his own dick...only its a lizard...

    bon apetite

    well...
you'd have to remove the tail before you get to the ass, hence making it impossible to sit on the ass and eat the tail.

chicken vs. egg for the 2k3 !

i've got a gazillion DNA stories..

just today i digested some DNA with restriction enzymes, ran them on a 1% agarose gel and phenol-chloroform purified the samples..

next i will be ligating the purified DNA insert to a variety of different vectors in varied concentrations, then tomorrow those ligations will be transformed into DH5-alpha E.coli cells.

this will be used in a multitude of PCR protocols, including site-directed mutagenesis, direct sequencing, and transfection

I learned how to excel in biological warfare by making super germs.

We took some E. Coli samples on an agarose gel like !@#$% did,
but ours had a mixture of Kanamycin (antibiotic). After letting the
culture sit for a day, we came back and found what we expected:
99% of the bacteria were gone. There were, however, a few small
colonies of bacteria remaining. These bacteria had a gene for resistance
to kanamycin. We also did the same experiment with a group of bacteria
subjected to ampicillin in their agar. The surviving bacteria in both
batches were then placed in pipettes. Using DNA restriction enzymes
we cut the 2 bacteria's chromosomes in strategic places that would
allow the genes for antibiotic resistance to float freely. Then, using
DNA Ligase, we attempted to reattach those chromosomes to make
a gene with resistance to both antibiotics. We then took a fresh batch
of E. Coli that had been on a 'feeding' pattern and introduced them to
the engineered chromosomes at a point in the day when they would be
most active, hoping they would take in said chromosomes. These
bacteria were then put on a petri dish with an agarose gel that contained
BOTH kanamycin and ampicillin, and allowed to grow overnight. The
bacteria that thrived on the plate the next day had resistance to both
    of the used antibiotics.

Using this method I could easily create an unstoppable strain of the
bacteria responsible for strep throat, bronchitis, etc.

The world is at my mercy.... Muhahahhaha.
