A BBC crew working on a drugs documentary caught a Radio 1 DJ on film - negotiating a deal. Brandon Block was filmed in secret ordering a pal to hand over an ecstasy pill for ten euros at a club in Ibiza.

The programme, Drugsland, was screened on BBC2 on Thursday - without anyone having recognised Block, 37. Now Spanish police are to request a copy of the show with a view to possible prosecution. A BBC insider said: "This is a right cock-up. It leaves us with egg all over our faces."

In the film Block appears wide-eyed and distant in the Space club. He calls a friend over to an undercover reporter and says: "Have you got the pill I left? Sell it to him." Then Block negotiates a discount, saying: "Twenty euros? Ten Euros. That’s my man." The DJ - known as Blocko and with the catchphrase "Oi Oi!" - turns back to the BBC man and says: "Give him your money."

He is heard hinting there are more pills - and, ironically, warning about being caught on film. In 2000 Block famously stormed the stage at the Brit Awards and attacked Ronnie Wood with chopsticks. In 2002 he was booted off London radio station Kiss for being drunk. Block, who used to date EastEnders’ Jessie Wallace, never had his own Radio 1 show but has done mixes for other DJs. Radio 1 said last night: "It’s a while since he contributed."

    What a silly old grandpa.

who fucking cares anyway. it was some guy getting a pill for some other guy.its not like he was negotiating a 10000 pill deal worth tens of thousands of dollars. this happens thousands of times a day all over the world, they just happened to catch someone with a recognizable name and splashed it all over the news.
    fucking worthless reporter trash.

BBC = British Broadcasting Corp. = British

Their DJs really aren't that bad - well known throughout the region. They travel the world as well.

I've got no idea who the fucking dj is, it's just a semi funny story. For fucks sake, i don't see you doing anything to contribute towards making ch.0 a better place, just 10 threads a week about how you won't leave home cause your mum won't be able to iron your jimmy jammies. Fuckin herb.

it means nothing to some of you cos your American not English.
if you were english you would be pleased to see that natural justice is being done for "blocko" inflicting his song "you should be dancing" on us years ago.
