    CNN story.

13 miners were stuck in a mine explosion in West Virginia. Late last night, word surfaced - no, word was officially spread - that 12 of the 13 miners had survived.

3 hours later, the truth comes out - only 1 had survived, and he was in critical condition.

So the families had celebrated for 3 hours, only to find out that their loved ones had in fact died.

    Fuck.

just read that mining story this morning...definitely messed up. sounds like cell phones, someone overhearing that the 12 were found and an ambulance leaving with the only survivor were to blame.

as far as Iraq...religion will be the death of us all.

I didn't want the thread to immediately devolve into a pointless argument three 12ozers have been having for the past four months.

That, and I wanted people to actually see it.
