    daily routine/ritual

Discussion started by ubejinxed - Jul 18, 2003

i think there might've been a thread about this a while ago, but i'm too lazy to find it.

but what are some things you do everyday in the same exact order?

for me every morning is the same.

    hit snooze 3 times exactly
get up eat some jellybeans, since i can't stand morning mouth
    pet the cat
    go to the shower
    shampoo hair
    wash face
    rinse
    condition
    brush teeth
    wash the rest of me
    rinse hair
    get out and get dressed
    feed the cat

    and leave.

it's the same every morning except on the weekend. everytime i take a shower alone it's the same order. it's kind of strange. i know when i do something out of order i'm really pre-occupied.

maybe i'm just strange but do you all have certain daily rituals?

    happy friday.

I don't think I ever break the order of my morning routine. If I do it's a very rare occurance.

    'pet the cat'

Hmmm, sometimes I spank my monkey in the morning.

The only things I do consistantly every single morning after waking up are: have a cup of tea, then take a big shit. Sometimes at the same time. Got to have my tea. Nice cup of Tetley or PG.

    Wake up
    Remove clothing
    Shower
    Dry off
    Dress
    Eat
    Brush
    Off to work

I notice you didn't mention breakfast in your routine (jelly beans don't count) ;)
I wonder how many people actually eat in the morning?

Sounds a lot like my routine.

I actually eat twice in the morning, at home before I leave and right after I get to work. It's difficult for me to function otherwise.

Cream of wheat, mmmmm.. haven't had that for a while :yum:

cream of wheat is good, i like it with brown sugar or honey.

i used to have grits most mornings, but i guess that's sort of a southern thing. (i'm not from the south though)

people at work always bring in tasty sugary things in the mornings too. it's dangerous there's a dunkin donuts on every corner.

it's kinda sad everyday is the same. i need to get out of this cube, and i keep saying that.

i used to go to the gym every morning, that was a different routine, but now i just run at night. yay for warm weather.
