looking cool is always a priority. don't worry about what it looks like as long as it works right thats really all that matters.

You have to look hip for all the people that are watching you paint.

I think what he's mainly asking is if there is any way of making them cheaply. I would guess rigging up a filter rated for organics to anything that is airtight and will fit your face would work, just involve some work with glue and an exacto. I don't recall respirators costing that much to begin with though, and since everybody on here is so fond of racking it shouldn't cost anything at all.

A decent respirator should cost around $30.
And unless youve already got that stuff lying around to make a custom respirator i think you would spend more money going out and getting the necessary materials

well, i do usually paint with other people...and also a lot of people do see me...cops, gangstas, other crews...etc.....so havin a dope looking mask with a respirator in it would be tyte...but maybe u guys just wanna bash my idea and question...who knows

first of all i didnt ask for any negative and sarcastic remarks. my topic didnt start by saying "please, anyone who wants to try to make me look stupid by responding with a negative comment, please post here!"....if you dont want to answer my question, then why dont you just click the little back arrow button on your browser and go look at some other topics? As a graffiti community i think we should unite, and not bash ideas or questions.

i can predict that this post will probably get negative feedback as well. watch

I guess the general feeling is that why bother getting a "cool" looing mask when all that matters is what you put up on walls.
If you get caught, then that mask is gone, and there goes all that.

But if you mean wearing a cool looking mask when doing a legal or something then thats a different story, if you want to look cool or whatever when doing your thing then by all means go ahead. But i dont think youre going to get much help here.

I wear platform shoes while I graff so my friends still like me. They'd totally kick me out of the crew if I didn't look cool enough for them.
